One morning, I woke up feeling incredibly uneasy and restless, grappling with something I could not put my finger on. I retreated to my jewelry bench and began cutting and welding. Lost in the process, hours slipped away unnoticed. When I finally rose from my seat, I found myself holding this piece, overwhelmed with a profound sense of relief. I named the piece ‘Vicious Cycle’ because it freed me from indescribable distress that I thought I couldn’t escape. Vicious Cycle gets its name also from its unique form, which binds the starting and end points through its natural, imperfect curves. Consisting of the classical triad of jewelry—a ring, earring, and necklace—the available forms of Vicious Cycle are a manifestation of the vicious cycle of jewelry design.
