Wax Carving & Sand Casting Workshop

Join me at my Leiden studio for an immersive, hands-on wax carving workshop where you’ll create your own piece from wax. In this session, you’ll learn the professional technique of wax carving and craft a unique piece from scratch. Enjoy the freedom to create any silhouette, imprint your fingerprint, or carve any design and shape you desire.

You can choose to make a ring, earrings, a necklace, or a brooch. The atelier is intentionally cozy, with space for a maximum of two participants.

Once the workshop is completed, we will sand cast your wax model in sterling silver or gold, then clean and polish your piece. At the end of the workshop, you’ll leave with a one-of-a-kind piece that you designed and created yourself.

This is a 4–4.5 hour workshop, and no prior experience is necessary. The workshop fee does not include the sterling silver used. Once your piece is finished, we will weigh it and determine the final material cost based on its weight.

You can also use your own silver or gold. Sand casting is a wonderful way to recycle your old, unused precious metals and give them new life.
